Job summary

· Perform activities in the human resource area under the direction of the Human Resources Manager, which include but not limited to positive employee relations, oversee the hourly hiring process, employee morale, training, etc.

Summary of essential job functions

Prepare or maintain employment records related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software.
Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations.
Hire employees and process hiring-related paperwork.
Inform job applicants of details such as duties and responsibilities, compensation, benefits, schedules, working conditions, or promotion opportunities.
Design, plan, organize, or direct orientation and training programs for employees or customers.
Address employee relations issues, such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other employee concerns.
Maintain and update human resources documents and HR Metrics, such as organizational charts, employee handbooks or directories, performance evaluation forms and more.
Conduct exit interviews and ensure that necessary employment termination paperwork is completed.
Perform searches for qualified job candidates, using sources such as computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources, media advertisements, job fairs, recruiting firms, or employee referrals.
Provide management with information or training related to interviewing, performance appraisals, counseling techniques, or documentation of performance issues.
Assist with the Performance Counseling process.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Authority to stop production in the event unsafe parts or conditions appear.
Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor and/or Manager, which may be outside the scope of responsibilities noted above.
Minimum requirements

A Bachelor of Business Administration or equivalent experience plus four (4) years of progressive Human Resources related skill, knowledge, or eight (8) years Human Resources experience, preferably in a fast-paced, high volume manufacturing environment.
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification desired.
· Meet or exceed the job requirements of the job.

· Identified candidates must be able to work overtime (daily, weekends and holidays).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
